  6. Q : What are Infinity Texture's system requirements:
  7. A : I-Tex requires
  8.     -486, Pentium(r) or better processor 
  9.     -16 MB of RAM (more recommended for large textures)
  10.     -High- or Truecolor Desktop at 800x600 or higher
  11.     -Win 95/98 or WinNT 4.0+
  12.     -HDD and Mouse

  14. Q : I just got I-Tex and cannot create such interesting textures like those
  15.     of the examples. What's wrong?
  16. A : I-Tex is a very powerful and complex application. Most functions and
  17.     possibilities are completely new and have an unusual way to be accessed,
  18.     because it's new technology. You will have to learn the way the program
  19.     works, but if you are experienced enough you will realize that some things
  20.     can be accessed faster and more effectively than in any other programs.
  21.     Believe me, I-Tex has a well thought out interface which allows you to
  22.     create great textures also without being a professional artist.

  25. Q : Are large fonts supported ?
  26. A : Large fonts are supported by forcing the application to use
  27.     small fonts. However a small fonts screen is recommended.

  30. Q : I-Tex is crashing on startup.
  31. A : OpenGL(r) has to be installed on your system. If you have problems with
  32.     OpenGL you should add the parameter "-disableGL" when launching the
  33.     program. The color cube will be disabled.

  36. Q : I see strange symbols instead of written words, what's wrong ?
  37. A : You probably don't have the correct fonts installed.
  38.     Required fonts are :
  39.     -MS Sanf Serif
  40.     -Small Fonts
  41.     -Arial (only if running on large fonts)

  44. Q : I don't see any icons in the Tool-Treeview, what's wrong ?
  45. A : You have an old version of the COMCTL32.DLL, which doesn't support
  46.     the way I-Tex handles the icons. Try to get version 4.71 or higher
  47.     (for example included in Microsoft Internet Exlorer(tm)).
  48.     This problem should be solved in the final 1.0.

  51. Q : I-Tex is crashing when I want to make large textures.
  52. A : There aren't enough system resources free. Close every unneeded program
  53.     and/or upgrade for computer's memory. I-Tex takes full advantage of a
  54.     powerful system and provides many features like a lot of undo buffers 
  55.     instead of letting your resources lie fallow.

  58. Q : Why runs I-Tex so slow on my system.
  59. A : I-Tex was designed on a PII with 128MB and speedups will be a task for
  60.     later versions. However I-Tex should run well on a standard Pentium if
  61.     you only create small textures (<=256x256 pixels).

  64. Q : Can I sell the textures made with I-Tex ?
  65. A : Only registered users are allowed to use the textures made with I-Tex in
  66.     commercial and/or profit-making products.

  69. Q : How do i uninstall I-Tex.
  70. A : I-Tex doesn't perform any changes to your system's registry nor to
  71.     INI-files. Just delete the I-Tex folder and its icon. However, this is 
  72.     no way to get another 30-day trial period.

  75. Q : The tool-windows disappear when i have them externalized and hide I-Tex.
  76. A : Just internalize them and then externalize them again (windows menu).
